For her performance in Sofia Coppola's Somewhere, she received a Critics Choice Movie Award nomination in 2010. The year after, she received recognition for her role as a lead character in the sci-fi thriller Super 8, which won the Spotlight Award in the Hollywood Festival of the Dead. After playing the titular character of We Bought a Zoo and Ginger & Rosa, she was also the Princess Aurora as well in Maleficent and Maleficent: The Mistress Of Evil.
