Madhuri Dixit

Madhuri Dixit is an acclaimed Indian actress, best known for her roles in the movies Beta Saajan as well as Hum Aapke Haiin Koun..! She was first known for her 1980s role in Tezaab, in which she co-starred alongside the veteran actor Anil Koopor. She next appeared in the movie Dil In which she shared the screen with Aamir Khan. In Mumbai, she was raised in a family of middle-class parents. When she was a young age, she began to take dance lessons. At the age of 16 She began to act and was a victim for a few years due to the fact that her first films were failures. Her breakthrough came when she finally had success and went on to be one of the most prominent actresses in the Indian film business. Following her wedding the actress took time off from acting until she returned. Dixit played an important role as a lead actress in Gulaab Gang, a film that explores the struggles of women in India. Dixit was nominated for fifteen Filmfare Awards, out of which she took home eight. Padma Shri is the fourth most prestigious civilian award in India. In addition, she is acknowledged for her work in the field of charity.
